The American Kristine Lilly (picture) hold the World record of international caps. She has played 354 matches with the USA National Team between 1987 and 2010 ! A fantastic record that will be difficult to beat.

Today only two active players, Christine Sinclair (Canada) , at the 5th place with 266 caps and Carli Lloyd (USA) at the 7th place with 250 caps , appear in the World’s Top 20 and can continue to hope to progress in the ranking. Other international players in activity will be able in the next years to enter in the Top 20 and reach the 200 caps. 

Mia Hamm, the IFFHS World Player of the last Century, is ranked at place 3 with 276 caps and Hope Solo, the IFFHS World Goalkeeper 2012,2013, 2014 and 2015, is the only Goalkeeper to enter in the Top 20 and to reach the 200 caps.
