ZIDANE’S NEW AWARD !
Former IFFHS World Playmaker (2006) Zinedine Zidane left one time more all his opponents behind to annex for the second consecutive year the IFFHS Award of The World’s Best Club Coach in 2018.
Like last year, Zidane concluded his season with a Champions League success resulting in 296 points from 90 football experts around the World, leaving a huge gap to runner-up Jürgen Klopp (Liverpool FC – 109 points) and third placed Josep Guardiola (Manchester City FC – 105 points).
Zidane became the first footballer to win dual crowns of Playmaker and Coach last year. In 2018, he became the first coach to win three times the European Cup in his first three seasons and Real Madrid the first team ever to win the UEFA Champions League three times in a row.
With 9 titles in 879 days at the head of Real Madrid, he became a Legend in the World’s Football also as a coach ! Because he is since a long time a Legend as Player ! Respect Monsieur Zidane .
Jürgen Klopp and Josep Guardiola took place on the podium with excellent performances with their english teams .4 of the last Awards winners (Zidane, Guardiola, Simeone, Heynckes) took place in the World’s Top 7 !
