EURO Oldest player (including qualification): Dino Zoff
The legendary Italian goalkeeper Dino Zoff remains the oldest player in European championship history, counting qualifiers and final tournaments. In 1983, he took part in the qualifying match against Sweden at the age of 41 years 90 days.
Another player who performed at 41 is Mario Frick from Liechtenstein (picture down).
9 people in the history of the competition have taken part in the matches being 40 years of age or older. Seven of them are goalkeepers (except Juli Sánchez Soto and Serghei Stroenco).
Gábor Király is the only one in this list who played at the age of 40 in the final tournament.
