Player with most games in one edition: Ricardo
Portuguese goalkeeper Ricardo holds the record for the number of matches played in one Euro edition (including matches of qualifying and final stages) - 18. This record was established in Euro 2008.
The second place in this category belongs to Andres Iniesta (picture down) : 17 matches during the same edition of 2008 (11 in qualifying stage and 6 in the finals).
The record, apparently, will stand during the upcoming tournament. Two players have a theoretical chance of beating it, Callum McGregor (Scotland) and Stole Dimitrievski (North Macedonia). Both have played 12 matches in qualifying stage for Euro 2020 (the most among all the potential participants of the final tournament). Therefore, they will be able to break the record only if their teams go all the path to the final.
